Recycled Plastic Basket

This basket was made as one of the projects for Re-Creative. It's made from two 5 gallon plastic buckets that are cut apart and riveted back together. A second, simpler basket can be made from the remaining bucket scraps.

The basket is finished by wrapping the handle with cord and applying stick on feet to the bottom.

The pieces work with the natural shapes and curves of the bucket so only six rivets are needed to hold it together.
